  • Must have a Degree in AV related discipline or 3 years of demonstrable industry experience.
  • IPAF (desirable).
  • Rigging certificate or experience.
  • Knowledge of basic video principles – e.g. video formats, resolutions, signal flow, EDID.
  • Good working knowledge of operation, set up and safe use of projection and screen systems owned by d&b solutions – Barco, Canon.
  • Good working knowledge of the operation of image processing and transmission systems – Barco, Extron, Lightware, Kramer, Analog Way.
  • Understanding of media servers, video production and playback systems inc. QLab, ProPresenter, Watchout, Disguise, vMix.
  • Sound working knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint & Apple Keynote.
  • Basic understanding of video codecs and file formats/wrappers
  • Understanding of live streaming encoders.
  • To work alongside the members of other teams and communicate effectively.
  • To learn about the company and its activities in order to understand and deal with the customers.
