• Deliver timely preparation, packing, and allocation of lighting equipment in line with departmental processes and daily priorities. 
  • Ensure all equipment meets required testing, inspection, and certification standards (including ISITEE, LOLER, PUWER) prior to dispatch. 
  • Maintain consistently high-quality standards across all prepared equipment, identifying and escalating issues where necessary. 
  • Keep manufacturer software and firmware up to date on applicable products. 
  • Contribute to positive customer outcomes by ensuring equipment is reliable, well-presented, and fit for purpose. 
  • Work effectively with supervisors and colleagues to manage workload fluctuations and changing priorities throughout the day. 
  • Follow agreed procedures, safety standards, and company policies at all times. 
  • Actively support the One Team approach by assisting other departments when required and learning new skills beyond the core lighting role. 
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with colleagues across the warehouse to support smooth operational flow. 
  • Be flexible in working hours when operational demands require additional support 
  • Lighting equipment is accurately prepared, tested, and packed in line with job requirements and deadlines. 
  • All equipment leaving the department is safe, compliant, and correctly documented. 
  • Preparation areas are well organised, efficient, and ready for the next job.

  • Technical knowledge of lighting equipment and workshop processes is continually improved.

  • Experience in lighting equipment preparation, testing, and compliance. 
  • Ability to maintain and update manufacturer software and firmware. 
  • Knowledge of relevant certification standards (ISITEE, LOLER, PUWER).

  • Proven experience in lighting or similar equipment preparation, testing, and compliance within a warehouse or workshop environment.

  • Professional qualification in a related field (e.g., electrical engineering, stage technology). 
  • Strong attention to detail, quality workmanship, and a calm, methodical approach under pressure. 
  • Evidence of continuous learning and improvement in technical and process knowledge. 
  • Experience leading or supporting a team (if applicable), including providing direction and feedback.
