The Role Summary
To provide support, repair and maintenance for all of d&b solutions equipment and assets, alongside repairs and maintenance for customers.  Work will involve hands on repairs and servicing of equipment, proactive maintenance and routine inspection and servicing.  Additionally providing support for larger warehouse projects 

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Initial triage of assets added to our repair system within a timely manner
  • Carry out repairs and maintenance of equipment within appropriate timescales
  • Routine Electrical testing (PAT)
  • LOLER inspections
  • Servicing of customer equipment
  • Supporting priority request and queries about equipment from other parts of the building.
  • Supporting the Asset and Maintenance Manager with ordering spare parts and coordination of returning kit to manufacturers for repair where required.
  • Supporting the wider warehouse team maintaining tools and prep equipment
  • Supporting Warehouse projects

Technical Skills

  • Proven IT skills, including use of Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, Access applications and PowerPoint). Working knowledge of an internal e-mail system and electronic diary is essential.
  • Experience repairing and maintaining equipment used within the live event and entertainment industry or repair experience that is clearly equivalent and transferable
  • General understanding or awareness of technologies used within the live event and entertainment industry and industry trends
