The Project

Following the success of a previous collaboration, our team was appointed to deliver a full AV system upgrade for All Saints Harbour Church in Portsmouth – supporting the venue’s continued growth as a vibrant, community-focused space. The church hosts a wide range of activities, from Sunday services and youth gatherings to courses, groups, and early years sessions, all requiring a flexible and reliable technical infrastructure.

The Brief

The brief called for a complete refresh of the existing AV setup, improving overall performance while simplifying day-to-day operation for the internal team. This included the introduction of new equipment racks and custom facility panels to enhance system control and management, alongside upgrades to audio, display and stage lighting systems. A key priority was to create a more immersive and inclusive environment that could support both large congregations and smaller, community-led events.

The Solution

d&b solutions delivered a fully integrated AV upgrade designed to elevate both the technical capability and user experience of the space. Central to the installation was a new audio system, providing clear, consistent coverage across the church to support everything from spoken word to live music. High-quality display screens were introduced to improve visibility and engagement, ensuring content could be easily seen from all areas of the room.

To enhance usability, new equipment racks and custom facility panels were installed, streamlining operational control and making the system more intuitive for the church’s team to manage. A simple yet effective stage lighting solution was also implemented, offering the flexibility needed to support services, performances and community events without unnecessary complexity.

The result is a transformed environment that better reflects the church’s role at the heart of the Portsmouth community – supporting a diverse programme of activity while delivering a more immersive and accessible experience for all who visit. This project marks another milestone in our growing partnership with Harbour Church, with both teams continuing to work closely to support their long-term vision.
