The Project
Creative HEAD Magazine’s Most Wanted and It List awards celebrate the UK and Ireland’s exceptional hair talents – from salon and barber shop owners and their teams to session artists and freelance professionals. For the Grand Final at Tate Modern, d&b delivered 360° event production services, including, creative, scenic design and build, lighting, audio, video and rigging.
The Brief
For the second year running, d&b Solutions was appointed by creative agency Story Events to deliver lighting, scenic and video services, including live streaming.
The Solution
Working closely with Harry Butcher – Production Manager at Story Events’ vision, we proposed a sparkly 1.5m mirror ball as the centrepiece to the gala dinner. This served to create a celebratory atmosphere and achieve a stunning visual effect both within the space and on the livestream.

The biggest thank you to the team for the awards, it was a brilliant event and refined on 2022. It’s a big reassurance having d&b Solutions on the event knowing that you have everything considered and that we can focus on ensuring guests have the best time, which they did. The whole team on site were receptive, professional and unwavered by any requests. We loved the mirror ball idea, which looked stunning on the livestream.
